Dissonant Memory 10
1993-5
Photographic construction, B&W/Sepia prints
6 3/8" x 9 1/2"
This tenth construction is the first to show a narrower, or more fragmented memory and focus on the past. This narrower focus could bring one to the heart of the matter, or it could simply represent one's inability to grasp the whole and to move on. About half of the constructions shown in this gallery are fragmented.
In all cases, the spatial dissonance and difference in color within these constructions comment on the questionable truth of our memory in relation to the event in the past.
